Boutique Maddie was established in the early 1960s by Madeleine Labrecque with the name “Madeleine Labrecque Boutique”. When it started, Mrs. Labrecque used the basement of her house to receiver her clients. Then, she moved to the Place St-Louis-de-France shopping center when it opened. When she retired in 1986, she sold the store to Aline Goulet. Ms. Goulet continued operating the business and in 2003, it became part of the Goulet Jewelry Store. After the retirement of Ms. Goulet in 2006, Ms. Audrey Marchand took over the ownership of the store. Then it was in March 16, 2015 when the name “Maddie” was born. Again in November 1, 2017 the two sisters Marlene M. Rousseau and Nicole Dutil took over the shop to continue the store’s beautiful evolution.
