Alberta Legislature Grounds

They can also do picnics with plenty of benches and landscaped areas to retreat to when they need a chance to dry off. In the winter, visitors can put on their snow boots and wander the grounds surrounded by frosted trees wrapped in garlands of light.

Muttart Conservatory
The Muttart Conservatory is second on the list and Edmonton’s premier horticultural attraction. One of the best-known landmarks of Edmonton, the conservatory consists of three city-operated greenhouses, public gardens, as well as four feature pyramids for the display of plant species found across three biomes, with the fourth pyramid hosting a seasonal display. The Muttart Conservatory is a botanical garden located in the North Saskatchewan river valley, across from the downtown core in Edmonton. It is nestled in the river valley and features more than 700 species of plants in 3 climate-regulated biomes; arid, temperate, and tropical. It also has a feature biome, located within its pyramids.

Neon Sign Museum
The Neon Sign Museum is the first of its kind in the country. The museum features a collection of functional historic signs that tell a story about Edmonton’s neon past. The City of Edmonton has collected 20 neon signs, all of which have been restored and installed on the east wall of the TELUS building and the south wall of the Mercer Warehouse building. The Museum is outdoors and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with no admission required.

The Royal Alberta Museum (RAM)
