Dunbar Theatre
The Dunbar Theatre is a beloved neighborhood movie house located mid-block on Dunbar Street in Vancouver. The building is known for its board-formed concrete construction and vertical “DUNBAR” sign. The Theatre is one of Vancouver’s last remaining neighborhood theatres and is an important social gathering place for the community. Its current status is uncertain and the City of Vancouver has ruled against retaining the facade only.

Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage
The legendary Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage is a newly renovated art deco theatre and ranks fourth on the list. The theatre was originally opened in 1931 as a cinema and Vaudeville House. The Queen Elizabeth Theatre
Last on the list is The Queen Elizabeth Theatre. It is an entertainment theatre situated in the heart of Vancouver. The theatre boasts an absolutely stunning indoor architectural design and a modest 2,929 seating capacity.
