Dino’s Grocery Mart
Dino’s Grocery Mart had its humble beginnings. Dinu “Dino” Tailor was a guy with high ambitions in a new land. He came to Canada in 1974 as an accountant with the goal of finishing his qualifications. His desire to start his own grocery shop was soon kindled while working as an accountant for a grocery store, and he decided to take a sabbatical from his studies. During this period, he went to one of Winnipeg’s two Indian businesses in the mid-1970s and talked to the proprietor about buying his establishment. Dino purchased the little firm a year later, and Dino’s Grocery Mart was formally founded in 1982.
