Calgary Sport & Social Club
Second on the list is the Calgary Sport & Social Club. The club was founded in 1996 based on a rising need for adult Calgarians who love to play sports and have fun. The goal of the CSSC is to encourage as many people as possible to ‘get in the game’. Whether players have no skill or a lot of skill, as long as they want to join in the ‘fun-first, winning-second’ mentality, they will fit right in. With a large variety of leagues, tournaments, and events throughout the year, the CSSC offers something for everyone.
One of the perks that the players of The Club receive are access to a variety of sponsor bars. Different food and drink specials are offered exclusively to CSSC players 7 days a week. They can visit the sponsor bars after games to make their CSSC experience a social affair from start to finish. Players can register by themselves, with friends, or with a full team.

Glenmore Cricket Club
Fourth on the list is Glenmore Cricket Club that was founded in 2001. Since then, Glenmore has had teams competing within Calgary cricket weekend, weeknight, and T20 leagues. They have been winning numerous trophies and accolades along the way. Glenmore CC is the most diverse club within Calgary with members from all corners of the globe – Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, England, Pakistan, India, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Scotland.
In 2020 they are hoping to have more teams and more members than ever before as the club continues to grow and improve. The club will be entering three teams into the Weekend League, two teams into the T20 competition, and three teams into the Weeknight League. This will make them the biggest club in Calgary, as well as the most diverse.

Calgary Canadian Irish Athletic Club
The Calgary Canadian Irish Athletic Club (CCIAC) or the “Irish” was founded in 1971 by Derek Wright and Jim Sullivan as an athletic club based on Irish values and heritage but open to all-comers whatever their heritage or background. The club has been committed to being the premier outdoor athletic club in Calgary ever since its founding. The club started with just a rugby team but early on decided to have their own hockey team. The vision of the founding members was to introduce their native sport of Rugby & Field Hockey to all Calgary sports enthusiasts, something they still continue to do today.
