Pizzeria Defina serves Napoletana-style pizza, first opened its doors in the inviting Roncesvalles Village in 2011. Pizzeria Via Mercanti is a tiny pizzeria/restaurant run by a family. Romolo, known as the “Grand Master” of the Margherita Pizza, finally opened his shop in Toronto’s Historic Kensington Market in January 2012. He has over 40 years in the restaurant business and over 30 years as a Pizzaiolo. In November of 2013, Pizzeria Via Mercanti launched its second location on Elm Street.
