Chef-owner of Restaurant La Salsa Zoïla Menjivar started cooking in her native village of Suchitoto in El Salvador. From the age of 5, she was introduced to the preparation of tortillas, tamales, atole, and corn by her mother in order to sell them at the local market. La Salsa was born in 1997 with only 4 tables and 12 seats. They have known grown into a restaurant that can accept groups for reservations.
La Salsa lets guests compose their own plate. They recommend between 3 and 5 items in order to make a complete meal.
