“Craving comfort food tonight, so me being a Greek, we headed over to Greek Palace, our first visit there. I had the gyro dinner, and my wife the calamari dinner. Each dinner came with a salad, very nice, my only critisisim would to have crumbled or chunks of feta rather then grated, but that’s just me. The potatoes were perfect melt in your mouth, my gyro was very tasty and the calamari (always a test for any Greek restaurant) was nice and tender, and a healthy portion. My Buddy’s
My Buddy’s all began in 1957, when Bill “Buddy” came to Canada from a little town near Kastoria, Greece. He founded the Citatidale, a family sit-down restaurant, after working long hours at what he does best. Bill quickly rose to the title of “King of Subs” with the help of his wife, son, and daughter. With sites in the downtown Hamilton core, Hamilton Mountain, and the Hamilton east end, My Buddy’s Subs sprang to life. It was more of a gastronomic passion and a way of bringing a smile to people’s faces than a job.
