“Been coming to this place for 2 years now and I absolutely love their dumplings!!! I’ve tried most of them, love switching and trying different flavors, and all have always been super fresh, juicy and delicious. Ordering them to go is now a great option and still keep their freshness when eating at home. Keep it up guys” – Lorenza Villegas

Qing Hua Dumpling

Qing Hua Dumpling
Qing Hua Dumpling is well-known and well-liked by a diverse group of local consumers. The tale starts in the early 1990s with a duo from northern China who runs a dumplings restaurant. After a few years, they were forced to leave their hometown to move to Canada. Mr. Song and his wife have agreed to open their own restaurant in order to express their love of Asian cuisine.

It was tough for them at the beginning of their entrepreneurial trip. With their perseverance and experience, the pair opened the first Qing Hua Dumplings restaurant in 2009. Within six months of opening, the restaurant became very successful, and customers started to spread the word far and wide.

“Qing Hua Dumplings in Montreal’s Chinatown offers many vegan options. I had a mix of the cabbage, mushroom, and vermicelli dumplings + the wood earm, zucchini, and vermicelli dumplings. You can get them steamed (which I like better because they’re softer) or pan-fried. Service is quick and friendly, prices are reasonable, and the food is tasty. I have no complaints.” – Xena Wang

“We had take out last night of steamed and fried dumplings. The dumplings are round and tasty. The skins are thin and they’re quite well made. I recommend the pork and shrimp one. They gave a generous portion of shrimp.” – Justine Tan
