REVIEWS:

“The church was an amazing space to appreciate live music. I expect their Sunday services sound great! I saw Terra Lightfoot, Lindi Ortega and Begonia there (same show) and am excited to see more there. They seem to be picking artists (or are the artists picking them through the grape vine?) who work well in an intimate yet big-stage-sound venue. Bahamas have also played there. Lots of space. Two thumbs up.” – Sarah Farr

Cornerstone Canadian Reformed Church

Cornerstone Canadian Reformed Church
Cornerstone Canadian Reformed Church is a long-standing community of ordinary people who have been regenerated by God’s amazing mercy through Jesus Christ. They are part of the Canadian Reformed Congregations Federation, which is made up of approximately sixty churches that have their roots in the sixteenth-century Protestant Reformation. Their congregation was founded in 1951 and now has a membership of approximately 500 people. They are a thriving congregation with a diverse membership, both young and old, and they believe in the Bible’s entire truth as God’s Word, which tells us about Jesus Christ’s atoning act.

REVIEWS:

“Although I have only attended once, I could definitely feel Gods presence and the live throughout the entire service and afterwards. A gentleman and his wife were very helpful wirt my questions and genuinely made me feel like I was apart of their family even though I just met them. The service was good and touched on practical elements of Christian living and how Gods word and instruction can be applied to our every day lives” – G.C.

Ryerson United Church

Ryerson United Church
Ryerson United Church held its first session of the non-denominational Sunday School in the Trolley Street School, now Gage Avenue on November 3, 1907. The manse was eventually relocated from Main St. to 110 Prospect Ave. S. and then to 170 Delaware Ave. The manse was sold in the 1980s, and the proceeds were set aside to meet the minister’s housing stipend. The members of Ryerson Church were all within walking distance of the church when it first started. By the 1950s, members of the congregation were beginning to migrate out of the neighborhood and into other parts of the city, and now, a substantial section of the congregation resides outside of the city, in the suburbs, and even in adjacent towns.
