SunScape Tanning Studios was founded in November 1998. Owner Kelly Kerr first attempted indoor tanning at what was then the most prominent salon in North Vancouver. He realized instinctively that this was an experience that could be significantly expanded, and spent the next year touring top salons across Canada and the USA bringing the best from each of the visited salons.
