Dr. Mandana Moosavi
Second on the list is Dr. Moosavi. She completed her undergraduate degree in Physiology at McGill University in 2008 and did her medical school training at McGill University. Dr. Chad Evaschesen
Dr. Chad Evaschesen is a community gastroenterologist at Lions Gate and Squamish General Hospital. Her general GI practice involves a variety of luminal, liver, and inflammatory bowel diseases. In the past, he has worked as a GI in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. Most of his training including undergraduate medical training and internal medicine residency was done at UBC.
Most of Dr. Evaschesen’s research involves inflammatory bowel disease and he is currently involved with some quality improvement projects to improve the GI referral process on the North Shore and hopefully streamline the referral process, reduce unnecessary referrals and reduce GI wait times. They are also working with developing certain treatment algorithms that family physicians can utilize for common GI complaints prior to initiating a GI referral.

Dr. Jin Kee Ho
Dr Jin Kee Ho is a Gastroenterologist at Lion’s Gate Hospital. He completed his medical education at The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1999 and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland in 2002. He attained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada in 2005 (Internal Medicine) and in Gastroenterology the following year (2006). Starting with two Gastroenterologists in the ear 19705, the Division of Gastroenterology of Pacific Digestive Halth has now become an Island-wide service. This includes 13 full-time equivalent Gastroenterologists in Victoria, 5 Gastroenterologists north of Victoria, and 2 experienced locums.
