REVIEWS:
“Hands down the best French cuisine in Vancouver! Every dish was on point. Devoured ever bit of it. Nothing innovative, very traditional and promising. Their portions are very generous for the price. It was our first time here and now this place stands at one of our top favorite restaurants! Our favourite dishes were the pate, tartare and the tenderloin! Wasnt a huge fan of the mushroom risotto. Will definitely be back soon!” – Y Lee
Le Crocodile
Le Crocodile’s story began in Strasbourg, France where chef and owner Michel Jacob was born. As a young apprentice under Chef Johnny Letzer of Zimmer, Michel and his fellow chefs were often taken to restaurants for a firsthand experience of the local dining scene. In 1984, Chef Michel opened Le Crocodile in Vancouver. Initially located in a small corner on Homer Street and quickly gained attention and had to move to their larger current location. Thirty years later, with some of the original staff, they are grateful to still remain as one of the city’s most acclaimed and visited restaurants.
