Pearce Estate Park
Pearce Estate Park is situated in a curve of the Bow River as it passes through the southeast part of Calgary and features a 15-hectare reconstructed wetland. The park is also home to Sam Livingston Fish Hatchery and Bow Habitat Visitor Centre. It is named after William Pearce, a Calgarian who endowed the line to the city of Calgary. It was in 2004 that the natural wetland site and the conceptual trail were renovated and opened to the public. The area features a picnic site, playgrounds, ponds, Pathways, and trails.

“I had an opportunity to visit Pearce Estate Park recently with some friends. The area was quite beautiful with lots of park benches and open grass. The trees kept the area fairly shaded and cool. TELUS Spark
TELUS Spark is considered a gem in the area. Providing a fun approach to learning, it was the first purpose-built science center in the country in 25 years when it opened at its location in 2011.
