Gem Chocolates use natural flavor sources without the artificial ingredients and formulations used by too many others. In the Kerrisdale neighborhood of Vancouver, their family-run and owned small company opened our chocolate shop in December 2011. At their store, all their chocolates and confections are manufactured where they can be bought only steps away from where they were made. There is an array of natural flavors – nothing unnatural, and their chocolates are made by hand, free of preservatives.

Kasama Chocolate has been deeply enthusiastic about all facets of the process after producing its first batch of bean-to-bar chocolate in 2015. Wanting to create unique chocolates, they acknowledge that there are a variety of factors that can be modified to modify the taste of the finished product, from sourcing the cacao beans, to playing with various roasting processes, to grinding and conching. Whenever possible, in their bars and truffles, they love to use ingredients from local farmers and manufacturers. Rene Rey Swiss Chocolates LTD
Rene Rey Swiss Chocolates LTD was created in North Vancouver, B.C. in 1974. Mr. René Rey, the creator and developer, was born in Switzerland and has been involved since 1957 in the chocolate sector. His family business in the production of chocolate in Switzerland has a strong, traditional history and was well known for excellent quality products. This technique was used until 1989, when René Rey wanted to buy chocolate grinding and conching machines to make his own premium chocolate.
