Glamorgan Bakery Ltd. opened for business in 1977. Rudy Bootsma and Don Nauta collaborated to get the world a “touch of Dutch”. They quickly made an impact on consumers who were searching for a decent family bakery with a dedication to customer service and a new product. The children were actively interested in the bakery as adolescents, but only a few remained as time passed by and on holidays where all hands are on deck. Don continued working at the present location with his family following Rudy’s retirement.
