Walrus Pub & Beer Hall

Walrus Pub & Beer Hall
Walrus Pub & Beer Hall is a two-room modern facility with a focus on high-quality food and drinks, innovative design, and thoughtful music selection. Ricky Alvarez, an in-house designer, created a contemporary environment in Toronto’s Financial District. The ambition to produce unabashedly powerful adult drinks and provide an ingredients-driven lunch and supper menu is matched with a confident but humble beverage program. The enormous pub is divided into three sections: an open bar, an elevated parlour games area, and The Ivory Room, a martini bar.

REVIEWS:

“Fabulous place for a delicious drink and a bite to eat after work. The “Twiggy” was so refreshing, like a cross between a good Ungava gin & tonic and an Absolut Moscow Mule. We had the jalapeno cauliflower to start and shared the pepperoni pizza. Our friend had the steak (grilled the way she likes it) and fries with a delicious mixed greens salad with the perfect amount of a light, tasty dressing. The place has a great, busy vibe. I would definitely go back again. A great place right in the business area of Toronto.” – Jo-Ann G.

Beerbistro

Beerbistro
Beerbistro opened its doors at the intersection of King and Yonge in the fall of 2003, right in the heart of the city. The bar provided rare and intriguing beers from across the world from the beginning, and the kitchen delighted in finding wonderful new ways to combine those flavors into our menu. It’s taken a few years, but it appears that the rest of the city has realized what they’ve always known: there’s a whole universe of beer to discover, from our “House” brand Hacker Pschorr’s light golden lager to the most exciting new offers from Toronto’s top breweries.

C’est What

C'est What
C’est What provides a range of varieties to help you find beer balance and zen. County Durham Brewing, founded in 1996, was primarily Bruce Halstead’s one-man business for a quarter century before joining with C’est What, Toronto’s original craft beer pub, in 2021. His meticulous attention to detail may be seen in the well praised and highly renowned Durham and C’est What brews. Moreover, six of their packaged options are cask-in-a-can, nitro-infused, in keeping with their position as the go-to bar and brewery for cask ales.

Burdock Brewery

Burdock Brewery
Burdock Brewery is a brewery that delivers everything from crisp, crunchy, balanced pale ales, lagers, and electric wine-beers that take a long time to create, to fine coffee, nut mixes, wine, bread, MOMs, hats, mystery foods, and concerts, all delivered contact-free to your door every day. They’ve come a long way since they started in 2015, and they’re still working hard to figure out how to create the greatest beers in the world. The drinks they make today are the result of a lot of trial and error, as well as a lot of study and learning.

“Love it here! Good beers and tasty food. They always have seasonal dishes that are great! I have been on numerous occasions and never has a bad experience here. Though there are tasty dishes I wouldn’t necessarily go here for dinner because of their limited full sized options! Their food dishes are mostly best for sharing perhaps with the exception of a rotational salad and burger and fries.” – Nadia Boachie

People’s Pint Brewing Company

People's Pint Brewing Company
People’s Pint Brewing Company is a community-focused brewery that focuses on making beer with the highest quality ingredients in small batches with great care. They usually have 10 or more different beers on tap and in bottles or cans at any one time. At their brewery, everyone is welcome, and we will not accept any discrimination, including racist, sexist, or homophobic/transphobic behavior. “Beer by the People, for the People” is a phrase that covers much more than simply beer. Some of the greatest beers brewed in Ontario are prepared in tiny amounts, as per them.
