“Don’t hesitate on a purchase, just do it. The quality and the beauty of Sam’s art is amazing and we were fortunate to find him. The customer service was first class and they accommodated a short delivery window we needed in order to receive the art. They not only did that, but kept me in the loop the whole way. Looking forward to purchasing an Original soon.” – Gregg Mcclement

Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery

Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery
Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery was founded in 1948 and is housed in the basement of the University’s Main Library. For a long time, the Fine Arts Gallery was the only gallery in the Vancouver area dedicated only to modern art.

With shows that investigated what is now known as cultural studies and by showing groundbreaking work by artists who would establish Vancouver as an international center in the 1960s and 1970s, the Gallery gained national prominence. The Gallery didn’t have a permanent collection until 1994 when it took on the responsibility of housing and administering the University Art Collection as well as maintaining and developing UBC’s Outdoor Art Collection.
