Sandy Beach Park
Sandy Beach Park is where the Confederation Park Golf Course can be found. Sue Higgins Park
Sue Higgins Park was formerly known as Southland Park. Established in 1994, it is stretched around 62 hectares consisted of islands, riverbanks, flood plain and inland marshes. Surrounded with tall trees and waters, you can see different ducks, geese and gulls in the area as well as woodpeckers, warblers and swallows. Its marshland is also filled with blackbirds and shorebirds. You may also see some Eastern Grey Squirrel as well as beavers and Boreal Chorus Frogs in the area.
A fenced off-leash area, this is a perfect place to enjoy nature at its finest. You can go hiking on the many pathways and hiking trails that they have. Fish Creek Provincial Park is a large area consisted of riverine forest, creek, paved pathway, picnic area and the historic Bow Valley Ranch.
