“Heirloom is excellent. Our server (Leslie) was lovely, helpful and patient with us. The food is excellent, the wine spectacular, and the ambience is really great for a small evening out. We felt taken care of but like our space was respected as well. Highly recommend. Thanks again to Leslie for being such an excellent server!” – Sarah Abele-Jacksties

MeeT on Main

MeeT on Main

Their goal is to help the general public move to consuming more plant-based foods in a welcoming, accepting, and engaging environment. “Excellent customer service!! When our delivery order arrived we noticed they had forgotten our salad. I called to let them know, thinking maybe they would comp us a salad on our next order, but they went above and beyond to make it right. The GM literally drove to our house to drop off our salad and gave us a complimentary dessert!! We’ve been loving Meet on Main for their delicious vegan comfort food for ages, but now we are beyond impressed. We know they won’t always be able to do things like this for their customers (we definitely got lucky tonight), but this extra effort shows how much they care. We are happy to support this restaurant during Covid and will continue to be patrons in the years to come.” – Shivani Wells

The Naam

The Naam
The Naam is the oldest natural food restaurant in the region. It was originally intended to be a meeting spot where people could come to experience “the good life.” They remain true to their original vision by remaining small, using fresh and pure ingredients, and maintaining a warm, homey, and friendly family-run environment. They’ve been serving vegetarian and vegan meals for over 50 years and can cater to a variety of nutritional requirements. You can enjoy their tofu and tempeh made right here in the Fraser Valley, organic Yukon Gold potatoes, pure organic Canadian maple syrup, organic blueberries, and so much more.

“This is my favourite vegetarian restaurant in Vancouver near UBC. I often visit this place for having the quesadilla platter which has huge portion size good enough for 2 people. The food is mild/ less spicy , very fresh , and tastes delicious. Their miso gravy sauce tastes delicious. I have tried their nachos, pizza, burritos as well. Overall this place is highly recommended for vegetarian dishes.” – Asmita Chakraborty

“I don’t normally eat vegan/ vegetarian but this place was really good! The server was very quick to serve us and was keeping an eye onus to make sure we had what we needed and that we were enjoying the experience. The food was very good, I had the BBQ burger, harvest bowl and roasted beet + walnut Dip. I wish I had enough room for the dessert.” – Percy Cheung
